We can issue a Travel Insurance Policy to you in any country
of the world within 2 working days and often immediately.

NZ STUDENT PLAN
for international students studying in New Zealand. It applies to the period of study and allows for up to 9 days in transit. If you remain in New Zealand after the period of study you must upgrade to the NZ Visitor plan.

NZ VISITOR PLAN
for temporary visitors to New Zealand and applies to the period to be spent in New Zealand and allows for up to 9 days in transit. If you wish to travel from New Zealand to Australia or the South Pacific Islands, Bali & Lombok you must upgrade to the Australasian plan.

AUSTRALASIAN PLAN
for students and visitors to Australia and New Zealand (Australasia). This plan applies to any travel within the Australasian region and allows for up to 9 days in transit.

Can I upgrade my policy?
Yes, you can upgrade your policy:
1. From a NZ Student plan to an NZ Visitor or Australasian plan.
2. From a NZ Visitor plan to an Australasian plan.
3. For travel to other countries outside of New Zealand and Australia.
4. From an Individual plan to a Family plan. (not applicable to NZ Student plan)
5. To cover newly purchased high value specified items.

How much will my policy cost?
Uni-Care charges premiums on a daily basis. We believe it is the fairest way. Premiums can be calculated from 1 - 550 days cover when you apply online or beforehand at the Premium calculators which enables you to preview costs prior to application.
